Pregnancy Outcomes with Intrahepatic Cholestasis

Introduction: ICP is a reversible rare disorder prevailing in 2% of pregnancies resulting debilitating feto-maternal consequences. Maternal problems resolves soon after delivery but fetal complications result multiple deteriorations. Present study was undertaken to assess the pregnancy outcomes with on both mother and fetus. Methodology: A prospective design used conducted tertiary health care sector department obstetrics gynecology for period 2 years. 80 mothers history pruritus, aminotransferase levels > 30 IU/L alkaline phosphatase 300 were included this study. Pregnancies other liver disorders excluded. Study institutional approval. Data analyzed using SPSS version 23.0 descriptive statistics display data form frequency percentages. Results: accounted many adverse outcomes. Results show sleep disturbance 68.75%, PROM 73%, risk PPH 10% 75.5% births through operative method attributable ICP. caused fetus distress 20% cases, MSL 23.75% babies, preterm birth (25%) LBW babies (18.75%), rate NICU admission (18.75%) still revealed 2.5% cases Conclusion: depict ill effects are effect cause permanent impairment rest life.
